Trends that I'm on the fence about

Hey luv bugs,
Its fall and you know what that means......new trends. I really like some of these trends on other people, but personally I can't see myself pulling them off. I said that I would try to be more daring with trying new trends so maybe I'll choose one to try.What trends do you love/hate?

                                                          Ombre Lip Trend

        I think this trend is amazing if its done right, but in fashion there is no right or wrong choice.
                   I would love to try this with a beautiful red. Overall, I think this trend is a great way to amp
                         up any look

                                                                          Flatforms

I have a love/hate relationship with this trend. If I saw them in the store I wouldn't

even look at them, but I love them on other people. Some of my favorite blogger

own these shoes and that persuaded me to give them a chance. I think its important

to use a trend and make it your own.

Wedge Sneakers  

Im so not a sneaker girl because I'm short and they are so unflattering on me. Again 

I love these on other people and Queen Bey persuaded me in her "love on top" video. I 

like the way you can dress them up or keep it casually chic.

The bandwagon: NYX lip pencils

Hey luv bugs,
I know I'm late, but I just ordered 6 lip pencils from NYX. Some blogs have been buzzing about how good they are. I purchased 2 of them last year in the color (hot red and fuchsia). I really loved them so I decided to order more colors. I really want to clean out my makeup box and get more items to add to my collection, so more makeup hauls yay!!! (any suggestions for makeup collection "must have") I have oily skin so any suggestions for primers or foundations will be amazing!!!

Someday baby...Monday maybe

Hey luv bugs,
 Here are just a few pieces I aspire to get for the upcoming fall season. I'm trying to step outside of my comfort zone and be more daring. I want to try bold lips, edgy hair and higher heels. I'm so excited for Fall. Its my favorite season. Its mostly hot in the south, but as soon as the slightest win blows I'm pulling out my faux fur and leather lol cause thats how I roll lol.

August Favorites!!!

I recently discovered that I'm in love with some product that I used to hate. Most of these products featured in this post are things that I used to despise, but now we're  besties. One more thing, I'm going to start posting a confession at the end of every post yay!!!

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Foundation
I remember vividly why I hated this foundation. It had glitter specs or something in it. I have extremely oily skin so I try to stay away from anything dewy or shimmery. I threw it in the " i don't like this drawer" and started wearing Revlon Colorstay. Only recently have I pulled it out to try it again and it looked pretty good. I think I was using the wrong type of brush the first time. 

Pink lipstick
1. single swatch
2. double swatch
 I wear this lipstick like literally everyday and It just looks so pretty. It doesn't have a name. It came in a makeup set from walmart. It's very sheer, but buildable. I like to pair this lipstick with my NYX lipliner "dolly pink". great combo

Aveeno daily moisturizer
Iv'e been using this for a month now and It is very good. My cleanser dries my skin, so its good to have a nice moisturizer. This is the only moisturize I have ever tried so if you have any suggestion leave them in the comment section please.

Maybelline Fit me powder 355
I love this as a setting powder. I thought it would be too dark, but it looks good.  I don't need heavy coverage , so this alone is all I need. It just illuminates my face and makes my skin look flawless. I hit pan so you know I use this all the time lol. I also stole this from my mom lol sorry mom. It looked cute on you so I had to take it

Olive Oil's Edge Control
When I first tried it I liked it, but after a few hours it wore off. I threw it in a drawer and never used it until 2 weeks ago. My friend Alicia told me to apply it at night and put a scarf on. It worked. Now I'm in love with this. I came to the conclusion that I sweat on my forehead and the sweat and southern heat melted the edge control causing my hair to curl  back up.

Hey luv bug,
My week has been chaotic. I moved back on campus and everything seemed to be going good until my refrigerator kept going out, my loan was denied, and the shoe store gave me two right-foot shoes ugh, thats just the least of my problems. It's hot as hell outside and walking in the heat is killer, but good excersise. I hope to start posting more pics on my blog but until then STAY HAUTE!!!
